The Potency of Anger

May 6, 2015 — 4 Comments

When you live in and with a reality that is the direct anti-thesis of you as a being, at certain point you get really, really angry. Ever notice?

What if what you feel as “anger” is actually the power and potency required to create dynamic change?

What do you do with it? Well, next time you feel angry, instead of holding on and maintaining the anger, you can ask these two questions:

“Is this anger or is this the demand for change?”

“What can I be or do that will allow this to change?”

The President of the United States, Barack Obama, recently chose to be and do something different with his “anger” … and it’s one of the best examples I’ve seen that illustrates what is truly possible when you use your potency and demand for change to create something greater in the world!

This is freakin’ brilliant. Thank you!

Thank you Dr Dain Heer …it was brilliant !!! This actually opened me with the sense of knowing that its my power and potency that is changing and anger is not the cause for it. .

Anger is only a symptom of an underlying emotion. Anger is not a primary emotion, it is a reactional defense from pain. Most grieving gurus have anger as one of the stages and when one gets past this stage you begin the healing process by feeling the pain that has caused your anger. Feelings are a gift to us by the universe, God, or whatever you choose. I have found that once you look beneath the anger you will find rejection, jelousy, betrayal, etc. If you can find the courage to feel these emotions to the fullest anger will lose its power. I have also discovered that as willing I am to feel the painful emotions is directly proportionate to what level I am allowing myself to feel pleasant emotions. It is a very freeing process. It is at this point I stopped looking for external influences such as money or another’s love to fulfill me. Just food for thought
