We all create something different in the world. We are all unique. That’s why every chance I get I ask people, “What if you, truly being you, are the gift, the change and the possibility this world requires?”

Meet 16 year old entrepreneur Maya Penn, who reminded me again when watching this video –  EVERYTHING you do contributes to the world in some way, even if you don’t see it or get it right away.  You, being you, creates the change you’ve always known should be possible.

By creating what she loves, Maya IS changing the world. Click HERE to watch the video below.

So my friends, what future would you like to create? As Maya says, ‘the smallest actions lead to the biggest change’.

If you’d like to start your own business – great. Or create a non-profit – awesome.

But what if all of those outward creations that get acknowledged all come from truly being you?

What if that smallest action that changes everything is your choice to be you, in every moment, of every day, no matter what the situation?

You are the future. What would you like to create?

Until next time,

Dain

Kid Embarks on a Mission

September 17, 2015 — 6 Comments

What if, no matter what the circumstances of your life have been up to this point, you can choose to create beyond them?

What if limitation is just a lie? And what if when we stop identifying ourselves by our story, we can create the magic and possibilities in this world that we are all capable of?

When I watched this video of Jaden, an orphan and remarkable 6 year old little boy, embarking on a mission to make other people smile, I was reminded of our incredible capacity for kindness and caring. I was also reminded of our ability to choose beyond limitation and the seeming miracles that get created when we are just being us.

Despite having lost both of his parents, Jaden was tired of seeing people unhappy in this world. So he made a plan, and set off on an adventure to make more people smile with absolutely no expectations.

Watch the video HERE and see the sheer joy created in so many people’s worlds by his phenomenal generosity of spirit.

What capacity and potency do you have, just by being you, that you’ve been refusing to acknowledge?

What limitation have you bought as real, that if you chose beyond it, you could create something totally different in your life?

Is now the time to embark on your adventure? What happiness may await you on the other side?

And what if you, being you, are the gift, the possibility, and the change this world requires?

Until next time beautifuls,

Dain

Have you ever looked up at the sky or down at the earth and been in awe of this magical, beautiful planet?

Have you ever wondered about the meaning of life? Or the universe? Or the phenomenance of being alive?

So often we look to others for answers. For someone else to explain to us how things work and how we should be in the world.

What if that was one of the greatest limitations we’ve bought in to? What if we come in to this world just knowing and being aware of everything and everyone?

What I’d like to ask you my friends is…

What if you were willing to know that you know?

What if you didn’t have to think or figure anything out? What if you already KNOW?

One of your greatest capacities as a being is your infinite ability to perceive, know, be, and receive. Notice that thinking isn’t one of them?

You may have been using that brilliant mind of yours over and over again, but if it could have figured everything out, wouldn’t it have done so already?!?

As I watched this video of this phenomenal 9 year old boy, I was reminded again of our capacity to KNOW.

So let me ask you my friend – What do you know, that you have been refusing to know, that if you were willing to know it, would change everything?

I wonder what we could create on this planet if we claimed, owned, and acknowledged that we know?

Until next time my friends 🙂

Ryland was born a girl but as soon as she could speak, she insisted she was a boy. Despite the judgment and opposition around them, Ryland’s parents have always been on their child’s side. “We signed up as parents with no strings attached.”

What if we would choose to see the person in front of us without the automatic definitions this reality imposes on people? What if we instead recognized the amazing being that is there?

What if we were willing to create ourselves beyond all the definitions, conclusions or judgments we’ve bought as true up til this point?

Who would you be?

What would your world be like?

We never quite know how life’s obstacles and challenges will change our course. We can never really predict either the tragedies in life or the greatnesses that come from them.

What if one choice, one question, can drastically change everything?

This TEDx talk of Amy Purdy, Gold Medalist and entrepreneur who lost her legs at age 19; and is truly an example of inspiration on the planet.

If my life were a book…and I was the author…how would I want the story to go? -Amy Purdy

Do you know that you are here to bring something to this world that would change it for the greater? And maybe in ways you’ve never even imagined yet?

What if your limitations and challenges are gifts that ignite your imagination and inspire you to go further than you ever thought you could go?

Evan Mercer was born deaf and didn’t start speaking until age 5 – but he did not let any of that stop him from choosing greatness! Here are some pieces of advice from his high school valedictorian speech:

  • Commit to protect your dreams always.
  • Find your own impossible and bring it to it’s knees.
  • Understand that no one can hold you down.
  • Make the choice to never stop moving forward.

It all started when 19-year-old Boyan Slat asked a question, “Why can’t we clean this up?”

He was referring to the millions of tons of plastic waste in the world’s oceans.

When everyone else was presenting clean-up projects that cost billions and would take thousands of years, Boyan looked at the problem from a completely different place and came up with a revolutionary solution.

He introduced a new way of thinking and the point of view that we’re doing this – now.

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them, Einstein once said. Boyan would most likely agree.

What could you change in your life and in the world, just by changing the way you think about them?

Your point of view creates your reality. Reality does not create your point of view.

What else is possible? 🙂
