Earth is Our Home

November 18, 2015 — 2 Comments

Yes, the Earth is big. Probably way bigger than any of us can imagine… Just tap into the ever-reaching mountains touching the heavens … the blue, bottomless ocean …  and the softest sand dancing with the dunes of the desert.

If there is one thing I would like you to get from this video, it is that: The Earth is big. And we all share it.

It is our home.

And yes, I only mention the Paris attacks in this video. I am not even trying to get the list right. It is too long. Too many beautiful amazing places on Earth have been hit by terrorism. Beirut, Nairobi, New York, Moscow… What occurs for one of us occurs for all of us!

It is time for change.

So I am using Paris to show you something about you. You, my friend, have a choice.

You have a choice of who you be in the face of tragedy.

You have a choice of you would like to be on this Earth.

Will you go for the trauma and drama — or will you be the possibility of something completely different?

Is now the time?

Click below to watch the video.

Be you.

PS. I wrote an article for the Huffington Post called ‘Not on Our Watch’. If you would like to explore what Tomorrowland could truly be like, go HERE to read it.

Have you noticed things are changing lately? And not just in your life or your corner of the world – but across this entire beautiful planet of ours?

And thank goodness!  Because the Earth needs us. We’ve been taking and taking from our planet for so long now. It is asking for our help.

Now is the time my friends.

We have the capacity not only to contribute to the earth, but to change the future trajectory of our planet.

The world is waking up and becoming more conscious. And not the kind of conscious where people say – ‘oh hey, my eyes are open so therefore I must be conscious.’

I’m talking about our awareness expanding and finally having communion with the earth and the plants and the animals on our planet that is truly possible.

I recently read this blog on peacefulwarriors.net about a new law passed in India which forbids keeping dolphins in captivity for entertainment purposes anywhere in the country.

How did this get created?

Because India has now declared dolphins as ‘non-human persons’ that have the right to live freely and not to suffer captivity for our entertainment.

The incredible intelligence and self-awareness of dolphins is finally being acknowledged.

And this acknowledgement is creating and actualizing a totally different future not only for dolphins, but for many different species on our planet! How does it get any better than that?

So let me ask you my friends…

What is the earth asking of you – desiring and requiring from you – that you can now gift? What do you know about the earth and the magical creatures on it, that if you acknowledged it, could change everything?

The earth needs us. The earth needs you. Now more than ever.

It needs what you know. It needs who you are. It needs your capacities and your brilliance and your awareness. It needs your yumminess and happiness to shine forth.

Now is the time to know what YOU know and create the change you know is possible.

Until next time beautiful people,

Dain

PS – My good friend, business partner and co-creator of Access Consciousness, Gary Douglas, created a video about having communion with our amazing planet and how to do a mediation walk with the earth. Check it out HERE.

PPS – You can also join me this coming January 24-26 2016, for The Earth Class – a live and ONLINE class where all profits will be donated to El Lugar. Learn more about the class HERE.

Are you one of those people that is interested in LOTS of different things?  Maybe you’re like me and bright, shiny new things make you happy? 🙂

Have you ever jumped in the deep end of something new and found that you can swim quite well?  But then maybe later (often pretty quickly), you get bored. It’s not challenging anymore. It’s not fun.  You’re ready to move on, yet you make yourself wrong for not being able to commit, not sticking with something, and not finding your ‘purpose’ in life.

What if you didn’t have to make yourself wrong anymore? What if this ‘wrongness’ is actually a strongness?

In our culture, we’ve been told that you should feel like a failure if you don’t find your purpose – a jack of all trades and master of none.  This idea – that you have to find your destiny and your one true calling, and if you don’t figure it out, you have somehow failed or are terribly wrong…does that make you feel light or heavy?

What’s true always makes you feel lighter.  A lie always makes you feel heavier.

I have a question for you my friends – what if you are a master of all trades and a jack of none? What if you’re more brilliant and gifted than you’ve ever acknowledged? Does that make you feel lighter or heavier?

What if you didn’t have to choose just one thing? What if you didn’t have to limit your menu of choice at all?

What if instead, one of your greatest gifts, was the capacity to learn new things, to adapt, and to be able to choose anything and everything you would like to?

As I watched this amazing TED Talk about ‘multipotentialites’ (a great term created by Emilie Wapnick), I was reminded once again of the brilliance that each of us has by continuing to choose, seek, and explore more of what is possible.

Welcome to the world of infinite possibilities my friends!

What if by never functioning from the answer, but instead functioning from question, you could change everything?

We need inspiration – yes. But we also need tools to make things happen. One of the things that continues to amaze me is the speed with which the tools of Access Consciousness work.

If we go beyond the box of this reality, what awareness do you have that could change it?

I had the honor of being interviewed by Orly Bar-Kima, journalist, author, life coach and speaker on ‘Practical Inspiration’. The tools I share in the video are not about just giving you a better version of this reality; they are about going beyond and setting you free from limited reality.

If you were truly creating your life today, what would you choose right away?

Talk to you soon my beautiful friends!

Evan Mercer was born deaf and didn’t start speaking until age 5 – but he did not let any of that stop him from choosing greatness! Here are some pieces of advice from his high school valedictorian speech:

  • Commit to protect your dreams always.
  • Find your own impossible and bring it to it’s knees.
  • Understand that no one can hold you down.
  • Make the choice to never stop moving forward.

What would you like to leave to the world? If you were to write your own eulogy, what would it say?

Here’s a 6 minute audio clip from a recent Energetic Synthesis of Being class in Denver about giving it your all.

Please don’t ever give up. Give it your all. You do, and our world changes.

Never-never-never-give-up

Dan Gilbert gives a TedTalk on the phenomenon of how we change throughout our lifetime and how we tend to underestimate the amount of change we will make in the future. He calls for the “end of history illusion,” where we somehow imagine that the person we are right now is the person we’ll be for the rest of time.

Hint: that’s not the case!

“Human beings are works in progress that mistakenly think they’re finished.. The person you are right now is as transient, as fleeting and as temporary as all the people you’ve ever been. The one constant in our life is change.

What would it be like to acknowledge that we create our future selves with every choice we make?
